Disruption doesn't have to be soul destroying. Taxi drivers, for example; often scathe Uber, and traditional BnB owners are quick to critique the likes of Airbnb. Rather than react - it would be more suitable to respond to this by asking how these new companies do infact make money. When we are in app-land ― it is common to overlook the actual physical act of parting cash from a user. In the case of Uber, real life drivers still have to drive the cars, and Airbnb users still have to make sure the house is clean for guests.
Remember: Uber, iTunes, Kindle, et al are nothing more than glorified Electronic Point of Sale Systems (EPOS)
